Refund & Return Policy

At Embrace Change Consulting LLC (“Embrace Change,” “we",” “our,” or “us”), all sales are final unless otherwise expressly stated in writing for a specific program or offering.

Why we have this policy

  • Immediate access to digital products
    All digital products are delivered immediately upon purchase. Because access is granted right away, these purchases are non-refundable and non-returnable.

  • Print-on-demand books
    Paperback copies of Don’t Stay in Your Lane are printed on demand. Once your order has been submitted for printing, it cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded.

  • Coaching and programs (individual & group)
    All coaching engagements and programs—whether 1:1 or group-based—require a commitment to full participation. Because space, facilitation capacity, and program design are reserved specifically for you, there are no refunds once enrollment or a coaching agreement begins, except where a program-specific refund policy is expressly stated.

  • Limited-capacity offerings
    Many of our programs, events, and services have limited spots. A cancellation may prevent another participant from participating.

  • Careful planning and resources
    Significant time, labor, and resources go into preparing our programs, products, and materials.

  • Commitment to our community
    By purchasing from Embrace Change, you’re supporting a small, mission-driven, women-of-color-led business operating with a lean team and deep care for our community.

Embrace Change Coaching Certification (ECCC) – Refund Policy

Our ICF-accredited Embrace Change Coaching Certification (ECCC) program follows a program-specific refund policy.

ECCC Refund Policy:

Full refunds are available for written cancellations received at least thirty (30) business days prior to the program start date.

Cancellations received fewer than 30 business days before the program start date are non-refundable.

This policy applies regardless of payment method, including Klarna financing.

Klarna Purchases – Important Payment Method Disclosure

Klarna is offered as a financing option only and does not change the underlying nature of the product or service purchased.

Klarna for Services, Coaching & Programs

When Klarna is used to finance services, coaching, certifications, or educational programs (including ECCC):

  • Klarna does not create a right to cancel, return, or receive a refund

  • These purchases remain non-refundable and governed by the applicable program policy, including any program-specific refund terms expressly stated.

  • Financing a program does not alter participation requirements or commitment expectations

Klarna Purchases – Physical Goods Only

If you purchased eligible physical goods using Klarna, the following applies:

Eligibility

  • Applies only to physical items purchased exclusively with Klarna

  • Digital products, services, coaching, and programs are excluded

  • Items must be unopened, unused, and in original condition for sanitary reasons

Right to Return

Eligible physical items may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund.

Return Shipping

  • Free return shipping applies

  • No restocking fees

  • No exchanges or store credit

Refund Timing

Approved refunds are issued to Klarna within 14 business days of receiving the returned item.
