Naseem Kapdi, MA, ECCC

Naseem Kapdi (she/her) is a reflective career coach who specializes in working with immigrants, first- and second-generation BIPOC, and introverts, and creatives navigating career transitions, burnout, and identity-layered decisions.

As the founder of Kimiya Coaching, Naseem works with clients who are overthinking their next steps, caught between paths, or feeling disconnected from what actually brings them joy–often because of the pressure of others' expectations or years of putting their own instincts last. Her gift is seeing what lights you up and reflecting it back to you with clarity and care.

What sets her apart is a rare blend of empathy, curious questioning, and practical strategy–a combination clients describe as a "prescription" for reconnecting with neglected parts of themselves. In her sessions, clients slow down, uncover patterns and strengths they couldn't see on their own, and leave with a grounded plan for moving forward.

Clients consistently describe Naseem's presence as warm, calm, and courageous–creating a space where long-held assumptions get gently challenged and real clarity becomes possible. Whether you're questioning your career path, burned out, or simply ready to stop second-guessing yourself, Naseem helps you reconnect with your strengths and take sustainable steps toward work that's truly yours.

“As a mixed-race woman of color, I’ve navigated many layers of identity, expectations, and perfectionism—and honestly, I didn’t even realize how much I was holding myself back. Naseem has an incredible gift for creating a safe and supportive space where I felt truly seen and heard. Her warmth and empathy made it easy to open up, but she didn’t stop there. She gently but firmly guided me to reframe the way I spoke to myself, helping me notice and celebrate the everyday wins that I used to overlook. With her encouragement, I started to see joy and growth in moments I used to take for granted.

I also loved how Naseem balanced support with accountability. She didn’t let me off the hook when I needed a push, but she did it with so much care and kindness that I never felt judged. And let’s not forget the laughter! Our sessions weren’t just transformative—they were also full of joy, humor, and moments that left me feeling lighter and more hopeful.

If you’re looking for a coach who combines wisdom, empathy, and just the right amount of nudging to help you grow, I cannot recommend Naseem enough. Working with her has been a game-changer for my mindset and my life.”

Naseem's quiet strength empowered me to step out of my comfort zone and question things I had long taken for granted. As a woman of color, I felt truly seen and emboldened at each meeting. “Naseem has an incredible ability to see what brings you joy and reflect it back to you. She sets clear boundaries from the start and reinforces them gently but firmly—which actually helped me reclaim my autonomy over my career. She identified that my face lit up when I talked about helping others, and that single observation helped me understand who my client base could be. Seriously, so many epiphanies in these sessions. I feel like I'm reconnecting with a part of myself I neglected during my time in corporate."
